>> good morning. it is friday. i am heather childers. people are already in line for the phones. >> lightening is being blamed for two separate deaths in indiana. sparking several fires across the state. a father is dead and his newborn child is in the hospital after their house was struck by lightening. investigators say a bolt of lightening which blasted through the trees and into that front window ignite add fire. >> it was like a bomb went off.

>> another man was also struck and killed while he was working on a billboard. >> overnight horrific violence in the streets of the already crime ridden chicago. 13 people including a 3-year-old boy are injured after men opened fire happened in a park on the city's southwest side. witnesses say 2 men began shooting from inside a gray sedan just after 10:00 p.m. last night. three of the victims including the boy are in critical condition. no arrests have been made. listen to this, new details now in the washington navy yard shooting. it is being revealed to us that the same company that did a security clearance on this man aaron alexis also did a follow up investigation on edward snowden. alexis killed 12 people before being killed by police. he is currently under investigation into possible criminal violations involving over site of background checks.

they are sit could require some costly changes for coal fire plants. the new rule requires all new plants limit emissions for carbon solutions for megawatt hour. the 2012 drafts which set the cap at #,000 pounds. it will kill jobs raise electricity costs and hurt the economy. coal is the largest source of u.s. electricity providing 37 percent of the total last year. but it also emits disproportional amount of greenhouse gas wormore than natl gas. it will have to utilize expensive car upon capture and seek station policy not only costs billions to install but has to be used in new jersey coal plant worldwide. it is not fair to require technology that hasn't proven itself either way this law is a ban on new coal plants.
